Inspiration

You can never have too much sky. This line came to me in a dream. Sometimes ideas come from a sentence I heard buzzing around somewhere and saved, or from a title I picked up and pocketed, the stories always insist on telling me where they want to end. They are stubborn. They know best when there's no more to be said. The last sentence must ring like the final notes at the end of a song -tan-tán- to tell you when the song is done.
